If you are being slowed down by it take a part time job to reduce the money pressure or get a consulting gig. If you are talented enough to start your own business you will likley be able to add a lot of value as a part time employee and you needent be fussy as long as you can keep working on your dream. In the book 'Getting Real' by 37 signals, they tell how they launched Basecamp without the billing system working. Their reasoning was that they had another 30 days to get this right before customers would notice - great rationale - and one we're trying to follow here in order to avoid scope creep and delays.
